The Agency Forum hosts a 3-hour seminar with a panel of professional International models from New York City. It is followed by a two-hour agency workshop with regional agencies from your local area.
The Agency Forum is run exclusively by professional models who have been in the industry for years, starting at a local level than expanding into larger markets. All of those working within the Agency Forum have modeled at an International level with the experience to match. This is their opportunity to use their experience in a productive and beneficial way that educates aspiring models and directs them to the legitimate avenues within the modeling profession. Their goal at the Agency Forum is to teach modeling hopefuls how to enter the modeling business through quality representation, successful marketing and worthwhile bookings.
This seminar is not only for fashion model hopefuls. It extends further to every division including commercial print (for all ages), beauty, runway, editorial, fit, showroom, parts, promotions, etc.
The topics include photographers, portfolios, modeling in your local market, modeling in a major market, securing an agent, freelance work, etc. They will evaluate the divisions you are best suited for and detail how and where to pursue them. They will even touch on legal issues such as photo releases and income tax information.
In the 2-hour agency workshop agents will speak from their perspective. They will also be there to answer questions.
Every seminar is limited to 60 participants. Each will have the opportunity of presenting pictures and/ or resumes to the attending agents.
